Tēnā tātou katoa
Joining the Blueprint facilitators aligns with my personal and professional values. I wish for whānau to live their best lives, and experience respect and mana Motuhake. I am passionate about walking alongside others and sharing tools to reach their potential, goals, dreams and aspirations.
In my free time, I enjoy walking my dogs on the beach, being creative, spending quality time with whānau and friends, and enjoying kai, especially kaimoana.
I was born in Invercargill and shifted all over Aotearoa wherever my father’s work took us. This meant I went to 10 different schools with the longest being in Kawerau for intermediate and high school.
On my father’s side, I whakapapa to Hauraki/Waikato and on my mother’s side, to Ireland and Scotland. I am a proud māmā of four adult children and taua of three mokopuna. My greatest joy is spending time with whānau.
My professional experiences have included working in public health, staff wellbeing, workforce development equity, diversity and inclusion, community development, lecturing Bachelor of Applied Science, facilitating workshops (Te Tiriti o Waitangi, cultural intelligence, understanding Māori health models, Enabling Good Lives principles), cultural and professional supervision, cultural advisor, and gym fitness instructor.
I am a lifelong learner and am currently contemplating my next academic studies.
